Monthly Math Mondays provided educators with ongoing opportunities to engage in mathematics, share ideas, ask questions, and learn from one another. Building on the collaborative learning of EnCoMPASS and ORCIDS, participants explored mathematical problems as learners, considered different approaches and representations, made connections, and reflected on how these experiences could support students as mathematical thinkers.

The emphasis was on exploring and making sense of mathematics together, not simply finding the correct answer. Through shared problem-solving, educators noticed different ways of thinking, explored one another’s strategies, and considered how these experiences could inform their teaching and support students’ mathematical thinking.
